New Podcast due up this week, and other news
Chris (Tabasco Cat) is working on getting our challenge with UPEO this week, we wish our members luck in that round. I am sure you gents will not disappoint.
I have been working on the next podcast that is due up this Saturday, hopefully I can wrangle an interview in, but here's hoping.
In other news:
-The website is still getting worked on, but the new layout has yet to give us any bumps, so it looks like smooth sailing right now.
-Just a note...my father has decided to join us on the website, and something made me put him to S&S user status. Do not pay him any heed :D. Kidding dad, its great to have you here, shows you must truly be bored with your retirement.
-I did a project for my Physics class here at Xavier, we had to work with Light and camera work. I decided to convince my teacher to let me use Halo 3 for the dynamics and light capturing photo work. He must have been drunk, because he let me do it. I'll keep you guys updated on that when I am able, but he told me to expect a good grade, I guess he really drinks a lot. If all goes well, I will Email Bungie about this, they might want to have a laugh.
-I watched Man on Fire last night, the movie with Denzel Washington playing former CIA agent John Creasy. I cannot begin to describe how awesome I think this movie is. Also saw Slumdog Millionare. It was cute, but I think too much bleeding heart liberal sympathy went into nominating this movie for the best picture. It deserved the nod, but I do not believe it deserved the win. Regardless, it was a fantastic movie. I'm a movie fan, so I watch a lot, and as I've told a few of my friends, my goal is to watch the movie "300," three hundred times. Seen it 78 times. Iron Man is at 12. When Captain America shows up, its gonna be even more.
-I spent several hours writing up background information for our little project we've been working on. It is hard trying to figure names and locations out of thin air. Too hard to be original, how artists do it, I shall never know.
-also spent several hours sending Emails out for podcast interview requests. What is it with people that post Emails up, and then never reply? I mean, sure, there is a volume, but to simply ignore is unprofessional. A simple yes or no is all I ask. Perhaps it is my drive for communication that irks me. We sit in an age that demands less talking more informing (hence silly Twitter feed to the right here...) and I make the effort to message by Email (as it is the given standard, over regular mail), and I can never receive a simple reply. Perhaps if I mail them multiple times, but that is just being foolish.
With that. I am off to breakfast, then sit in class and wonder why I need a degree for bullshitting (marketing). Only kidding, I value the things I learn here, and cannot wait to see what the real world brings. S&S is showing me a good amount of it every day.
