Really enjoyed the story.. Not scripted until the end as long as you hit the B button soon enough. I liked how the progression from COD4 thru BKOps and this one told the story. The instreet fighting and maps is just great, also allowing an XM25 CDTE grenader secondary was just let me say wow. Spec Ops has a ranking system and I think the graphics in the game are quite good. Very clear in HD. I've heard a few wall hacks in MP already but they will get caught. I picked it up on Midnight rel and the line was quite long. It looks to continue to another down the road. Using the remote UV bot Talcon grenader was just to much to control myself. Its in MP as a killstreak reward.

Also love Spec Ops survival.. Hell wasn't even trying just used guns i picked up and was at level 6. Kinda goes you buy guns and support during ea game based on kills and money you've earned. If you die you start over.

Just beat the game today on normal difficulty. What an amazing game! I haven't played such a great single player game in a long while, let alone a single player stealth game.

If you haven't played this game yet, I recommend that you give this a try! Borrow a copy from a friend or rent it. If you're a fan of stealth gameplay like MGS or Splinter Cell (Do they still do stealth?), DX:HR is almost all about stealth. You can hide behind cover, quickly roll from cover to cover, knock out enemies silently with non-lethal attacks, or distract them by picking up and throwing objects to create some noise. Or you can play it like a cover-based shooter, but it's much harder because ammo is extremely scarce, and the protagonist can only very few hits before going down.

Action out of the way, the game is actually a first person RPG. Along with the main quest, there are side quests you can do for each time you visit a city. The main quest usually tend to have one way of completing them, but the side quests can have different endings depending on how you play. Sometimes it requires the player to thoroughly investigate some places, or how many objectives you complete, or how you complete an objective. During conversations, you'll also have choices you can make, and it affects what information you'll gain from them. Sometimes it's backstory, sometimes it affects the ending of a quest, and sometimes it's useful information for the current quest. And there are boss conversation battles. Yeah, that sounds funny, but during the main quest you'll engage in a conversation with an important character and you have to decide what to say to them. Depending on what you say, it'll effect what they'll do. Say the right things, and they'll be persuaded to seeing things from your point of view.

Anyway back on topic. You do gain experience in this game, the amount depends on what you do. Killing will net you experience, but knocking out adversaries grants more points. Being stealthy grants bonus experience. Exploring the areas, finding alternate passages, hacking, and reading the in-game literature all grant experience points, too. You don't level up the typical RPG way. Instead, every time you reach a certain amount of experience points, you gain a skill point to put into any of your augmentations. This grants you new and improved abilities, like cloaking, better social skills, or hacking skills.

If you're into good storylines, DX:HR's story is about technology vs man, and the morality behind it. It's reminiscent of the abortion issue. Also, being a Deus Ex game, a stealth game, and having a futuristic setting, conspiracies are involved, too. As far as stories go, it had me hooked.

Where does the game fall short? I say voice acting. And it's quite a bit buggy I hear. At first I had problems with the game crashing on the PC, but it seems to have been fixed. Don't know about the consoles though.

Who else has the game? How far have you gotten, and what is your current play through? I'm going to go for the hardest difficulty setting next, and the "foxiest of the hounds" achievement.

Well some of the new maps were great, Drive In, Silo, Hanger 18, Hazard, didn't really care for Hazard, its a little to open to where someone can spawn behind you so quick and it seemed the game was that way alot. Went to the Prestige and will not do it going to keep what I earned do to doing it alone with alot of random play and in the last two days finally going positive on K/D. Playing MOH (Medal of Honor) now and there is no Kill Cam.. Good. Should not be one in any of these games. Getting my A$$ handed to me and expected that, but just have not learned the maps and played it much.
Hell died 10 in a row cause the stick layout and look inversion were not the same as Campaign play. HD graphics are great though and a pistol actually kills in a couple shots. Spawn camping is tough but hey we do the same thing in AC6. Going to try and Tier 1 the campaign, finished First In and moving on. will finish up some Achieo's. BFBC2 will be next have played that some but the rank system and kill points are not my favorite, but will do it soon anyway. I'm done with MW2 and Black Ops for the rest of the year. Aug and a silencer were pretty much all I played with except once in a while someone would go with a MP5 and I needed to match it in getting the first hit or close quarters kills. Looking forward to the new FPS coming out where I will concentrate on MP right away.

I know everyone is excited about Ace Combat but the skills start by communication and Practice, shure some of you are btter then the rest but i belive it is up to you senior airmen to step it up a notch and take someone under your wing and make them better, dont you want someone equill to you or better watching your back ?... No matter what you are doing ?
Everyone has things going on i understand i to have things going on but i put the S&S as past of my things going on and if i need to be someplace to do what ever it is i make it a point to be there.

Step it up Senior flightwing you have the title now put it into action..., i challenge you, git our shit togather or give the responceability to someone that can handle it.There is more shame and humilitiation in killing everyone then giving the responceability to someone who can do it.
