A Brittish Chinook pilot in Afghanistan was hit by a round in the helmet just above the eye and managed to pilot his helicopter back to base, saving the 20 people onboard including wounded afghan soildiers. Win?

Yeah. Al Queda shot him between the eyes and the dude kept flying around picking up his buddies. Makes Rambo look like a pussy.

What type of weapon did he get hit by? Either way that's pretty damn crazy. I agree drew, rambo just lost a few points...Pussy...

EDIT: I just read the fully story, they aren't sure what type of round hit him but it hit his NVG rail attachment on his helmet and went through. It says another bullet penetrated the stabilisation controls of the chopper as well. Gotta give this Ian guy some respect, he's got skills.
